This is a day in the life of our youngest Sunday School class, led by my lovely wife Liz. She has added some words below about what these great kids are learning.

I have really enjoyed teaching these young kids. So in my excietment, I thought I would share with you a little bit of what we have learned. We are doing a study on the attributes of God for children. We will use each letter of the alphabet (some letters more than once) to describe an attribute of God. We are also learning many Scripture verses, and I have been so impressed that the children have done so well with their memory work. Thank you, parents for all of your hard work with your children. And it is my prayer that you are learning as you work with them too. So far here is what we have learned.

Q-Questions. Everyone has questions and that is a good thing. But there are three questions which are the MOST important ones that we can answer:

1. Who is God?

2. What is God like?

3. How should I act toward God?

I-Incomprehensible: God is more than we can fully understand.

Even tho we have all of these questions about God, we will never find all of the answers. We will always have more questions, so we will always be learning more about God.

Y-YWEH: God’s special name that He gave to His people.

Even tho God is more than we can fully understand, He wants us to know him. So He has a name to be used by his people. Yaweh or LORD.

E-Eternal: God has no beginning or End.

God is the only person or thing that is eternal. Because He is eternal, we know that we can always count on Him to be there for us, and we can always trust in Him.

Again it has been such a joy to work with these young children. They are so eager and happy to learn the thing of the LORD. What a treat to be able to invest in them.
